House rules

  • No parties or events.
  • No smoking inside. 
  • Please respect check-in and check-out times. 
  • Please take care of the furnishings. You have to pay for damages.
  • Please keep dogs on leash when outside. Exceptions: Dogs can be off leash in the fenced pen off the patio or in the arena behind the barn.
  • Please pick up after pets.
  • There may be tenants in the camper on site. Please respect their privacy.
  • If there are horses on site, do not feed them.
  • No illegal substances allowed on the premises.

House manual

Games

  • You are welcome to use any of the games or books in the house.
  • There is a cornhole set. The boards are under the covered patio and the bags are inside the wicker footrest in the game room. If you set up the boards outside, please bring them in when you are done.
  • Additional pieces for the game table are also inside the wicker footrest.

Temperature control

  • The thermostat in the hallway controls the AC and the heat.
  • There is no AC in the game room. The top switch to the right of the French doors into the game room controls the game room fans.

Garage

  • Feel free to park in the garage. There is no clicker available. You can open and close the garage door using the large button on the wall inside the garage.
  • There is no lock on the door between the laundry room and the garage. You can keep the side door into the garage locked for security.

BBQ grill

You are welcome to use the grill in the patio. Please take the normal precautions. Don’t leave the grill unattended and don’t put hot ashes in the trash.

Trash

We do not have weekly trash pickup. You can place your trash from the house inside the can outside the garage side door. If this gets full during your stay, please message me and I can empty it. Alternatively, you can drop the trash for free at:

Paddocks and barn

The paddocks and barn are available for an additional fee plus a cleaning deposit. When not rented, they are locked.

Check-out instructions

  • Set AC to 74 degrees.
  • Place used towels in the washing machine and start a cold cycle. There should be detergent in the laundry room cabinet.
  • Bring in cornhole boards. 
  • Lock all exterior doors from game room and garage.
  • Shut windows.
  • Turn off TVs.
  • Place dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
